Business Background
Hmmm, what can I say? First off, my name is Kelsey. Whew! Glad we got that out of the way. Anyhow, I started dating a super cute football player, named Brendan, back in my junior year of high school, circa 2006.
Flash forward to 2011, that football player asked me to marry him. I obviously said, "Yes!"

Now we're up-to-speed with today. I married that cute boy back in 2013 & we have 3 gorgeous little boys, Braylen, Karson & Kamden along with our black lab, Kohl, and a spunky Newfoundland, Salem, running a muck in our lives. Life is a bit chaotic, but we wouldn't want it any other way because our hearts are so so sooo full!
I'm not your average photographer. I'm quirky, awkward & I love to have fun! If that sounds like what you're looking for, I look forward to hearing from you!
I went to college, majoring in Rehabilitation & Human Services while minoring in Psychology. My career path to photography makes sense, right?

Back when I got engaged, my wonderful mama bought me my first DSLR camera as a wedding gift. I've always had a love for taking photos, so I was really excited to see what a professional camera could do to my pictures! I must say, that little beginner Canon T3i totally stole my heart!

Once I got it, I wanted to play around. I grabbed my in-laws and took some photos. After they were posted, people bombarded me with questions about how much I charge. At the time, I had no intentions on making this my career, but it kind of just fell into my lap. I can't complain about being blessed with this talent!
​
2014 came & went, but not without me adding a film camera and upgrading my beginner. I wanted something a little more advanced & that would make me push my limits. Now, I have three cameras to play around with, but film is for my own fun.

It's obvious that the name of my business is derived from my actual name. Although my last name changed when I got married, I kept the "G." in honor of my late father.

That's how this beautiful adventure began!

Storytelling Mission
My goal, as a photographer, is to tell YOUR story. I focus on capturing all the little details and the unscripted moments. As you look through my photos, you'll notice the raw emotion; the candids of each moment. I adore natural light and will utilize it when I can and as much as I can. I like to keep my photos as natural as possible, while emulating emotion and emphasizing colors. I wouldn't necessarily say I have a specific style. It depends on the lighting and situation at hand, but I will say that if I had to be categorized, it would be bold, emotional and colorful.

"Out of the ordinary" inspires me. I live for the moments of love and laughter and the ability to not care what anyone thinks. I always stood out. I never tried to fit in. I will go above and beyond to bring your vision to life, even if it calls for me getting down and dirty.
